When you purchase HandShake Pro, we collect:
- Your email address
- Your name
- Your billing country
When you activate a Pro license, we also store:
- Your license key
- The domain name of the site where the license is activated
- Activation date and expiry date
When you download the free version, we collect your name and email address.
3. Why We Collect It
We use this data to:
- Deliver your license key and plugin download
- Validate your license when your site communicates with our license server
- Send transactional emails related to your purchase (license delivery, renewal confirmation)
- Respond to support requests
We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
4. Who We Share It With
Paddle (paddle.com) — our payment processor and merchant of record. Paddle handles all payment processing and billing. Their privacy policy applies to data collected during checkout: https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy
Brevo (brevo.com) — our email delivery provider. Your email address is used to send transactional emails only.
We do not sell your data to any third party.
5. How Long We Keep It
We retain your license record (email, domain, expiry) for as long as your license is active, and for up to 2 years after it expires for accounting and support purposes. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
